This newly independent country, formerly called the
breadbasket of the Soviet Union is struggling to find
its place among the nations of Europe. Ukraines
leaders face major social, political and economic challenges.
The countrys aging infrastructure can no longer
support the basic needs of its people. A thread of futility
seems permanently woven into the fabric of everyday
life.
Through Shepherds Foundation, a unique partnership
between American and Ukrainian people, despair is being
replaced with hope.
This hope for the future of Ukraine is centered in Jesus
Christ. His servant attitude towards hurting people
stimulates each participant to use his hands, voice,
feet, heart, and creative intellect to serve others.
Loving people by serving them demonstrates the reality
of Jesus Christ and leads to changed attitudes and transformed
lives.

St. Paul's Calvary
Baptist played a major role in building this new church

are active with sister church in Ukraine.
